MIRIAM BARON, RN, BSN, CWCN -- CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER DESERT VEIN CLINIC

Miriam graduated from the University of Pangasinan, Philippines, with a bachelors degree in nursing. After working for a time as a nurse in the Philippines she went to Kuwait where she served for two years. Fortunately for us she chose to exercise her talents in Brawley, California where she served as director of nursing for two home health agencies over the next several years. Her interest in wounds, specifically those associated with venous disease, led her to pursue specialty certification in wound care (CWCN). By then our surgical practice had shifted entirely to the care of venous disease and her wound care and administrative training proved to be invaluable to the development and management of a clinic dedicated to the care of the patient with venous problems.
